that's similar to my situation-- after uni I moved to Japan to work and then came home and lived with my parents while I looked for work. Except when I found work I decided to continue living with them because it's cheaper than moving out :P I can save a lot more money that way.

That's why I'm still here. What's the point in moving out and having to pay several hundred dollars a month in rent when I could live at home for free in exchange for cooking and cleaning and running errands? My parents are getting older and are happy to have the help around the house and the company. It's a win-win situation for everyone, and when I do move out I'll have a nice cushion of savings.
