I say keep it. I don't RP and it holds no interest for me, but I read if the secret is pretty/if I know the fandom/if I think I know who's written it, which for some reason has been happening a lot more lately. Keep the I ship it/I hit it/real people things too. It's all good! (On an entirely different note - did I miss something? I don't get the MelloMatt wank. It's a pairing. Some people ship it. Some people don't. What gives?)
