Least:
How I Met You're Mother. I will not go off on another rant, but suffice it to say it was bad. Really bad.

House. But then again, the entire last few seasons were bad.

Favorite:
Buffy. I liked the ending. A lot of season 7 wasn't great but I did love the final.

Return of the King- movie version. The book dragged on too long, but I think the movie found a happy medium.

Return of the Jedi: Special edition: I love the celebration on various planets. And I loved the redemption of Anakin. ROTJ is my favorite Star Wars movie.

Star Trek: Voyager: Say what you will about Voyager, but I think they had both the best beginning and the best end episodes of any of the Trek series. It struck just the right tone and gave the audience the exact right ending.

Babylon 5: A perfect, bittersweet ending to the show. No spoilers for the people who are currently watching. But I loved the ending.

Curious what you didn't like about the finale of House? I only watched the first three seasons, and a smattering of eps after that, so missed most of the trainwrecky bits. I thought the ending was a pretty good send-off, House-wise, though.

Well, leaving beside the stupidity of House's actions given that he is going to be in a whole lot of trouble once Wilson dies, I felt like it was disrespectful to the other characters. It made things out as if the show was only about the House-Wilson friendship when that wasn't really true. The show was about House and all his relationships, not just the one with his best friend.

AYRT

Ah, that came later (and was in the seasons I didn't really watch). That was pretty much what I liked about the finale, but that was the dynamic the show started out with, so it definitely felt like good closure / coming full-circle to me.

I am so glad I was never that invested in HIMYM because I caught the finale of it and I was kind of just staring at the TV in horror. It was just awful man, really awful.

I can only agree with all of your favourites bar Buffy(I didn't hate it but I wasn't in love with it either, it did have some good moments though) and Babylon 5, but that's only because I cannot remember it at all thus have no opinion on it.(I have an urge to maybe watch B5 again...)

On Return of the King - I feel leaving out the Scouring of the Shire was a damn good move, because the war is won and having to go home and fight another small war felt just a little... sad. I can accept it in the book, but it would have been anti-climactic and unwieldy in the movie.

Agreed with Return of the King AND Return of the Jedi. (I even don't mind the, uh, change with Anakin in the DVD version!) I do love the book version of Return of the King too, but the movie's ending was beautiful <3

I mostly liked the Voyager finale (and yeah, Voyager is my favourite Trek series, although admittedly I haven't seen DS9), just. Not the Chakotay/Seven part. Dear god.
