I wouldn't say I loved the epilogue. I didn't hate it? I had a few issues with it, though. It left pretty much every end that wasn't about the main four characters totally loose (except Neville's job, and I liked that bit actually). I feel like we could have done with less of the Dream Team and more of what was going on with other people.

I neither loved nor hated the names, either. It's the wizarding world, all the names are weird.

My biggest bone with the epilogue was how it was executed in the movie. Only the men looked like they'd aged at all, and that wasn't by very much. I honestly kinda wish they'd left the epilogue out of the movie - it left a weird taste after the story was wrapped up pretty well (I though, despite a few reservations) on screen.

yeah, it was a low ok in the book; I liked it better in War and Peace but whatevs, babies ever after and life goes on. I get you, JKR.

It really needed to be cut from the movie.

I feel like the main reason they had it in the films is so they could end on that cresting, rising reprise of the main title theme as we lead into the credits.
