Marvel got Joss Whedon for the big movie. DC gets David Goyer. It fucking sucks hairy monkey balls to be a DC fan. Being a DC fan is like being slapped over and over in the face while your neighbour is being handed out nice little candies.

Yeah, being a DC is suffering.
Between the movies (excluding Batman), arrow (and I suspect flash), and the guy from the O. FUCKING. C. playing Jim Gordon, well... at least we have a decent cartoonverse.

DC has a fucking flawless cartoonverse, but can never seem to take any project further than a couple of TV seasons or direct-to-DVD movies. If only they'd start looking into big-budget CGI for feature films instead of endless live-action reboots.

I'm pretty sure this is how my close friend feels. She has one foot in Marvel and the other in DC, and my heart goes out to her every time DC fucks something up, especially with her favorites being Batman and Superman.
