Another one checking in for Paranatural. I started reading Monsterkind recently because of the big ad on Paranatural, and while it is very jerky to start, and very HiNaBN inspired in the art department, I'm looking forward to it getting meatier (it's about monsters and humans, and classism, and cuteness).

OH. I also started Strong Female Protagonist a couple days ago, and it is surprisingly good. Given the title, and the janky opening, I was all, "oh man, check out this try-hard tumblr baby about a privileged and super-powered white kid taking on social justice oooh how lame."
But then it slapped me upside the face it is a subversion of my shitty expectations and deconstruction of superheroes.

Excellent. I find that telling people "It doesn't suck." to be almost exactly what they need to hear to check something out.

I wasn't even sure about the art style at first, but it's really grown on me and reminds me of the kind of efficient style someone would use for comic jams.
