I love self-portraits and I think the hate people get for taking / posting a ton of pictures of themselves is way overblown. But I have a supernova-sized irrational hate for the word "selfie. I'm not even sure why.

To me, "selfie" sounds like the opposite of "handy" (hand-job). Instead of receiving a handy, you give yourself a selfie.

So, not fond of that one, either.

Selfie pretty much sums up the selfish little brats on Tumblr. Hate that word with a passion also.
