Re: Homestuck shipping
The OT3 is the Auspistice, or ashen quadrant. Let me just quote from the homestuck wiki: "An auspistice is a "facilitator" of some sort between two others, mediating interactions between them and keeping their relationship functional. Unlike the other quadrants, ashen feelings have only been shown and have suggested to be only felt by the auspistice and not the two parties in the mediated relationship. It may be permissible for a troll to be involved in more than one ashen triad at a time." SO BASICALLY the only person feeling anything during an ashen relationship is the auspistice, the one who facilitates between two other people who hate each other.
...a relationship can be both romantic and platonic. So. The matespritship (the love one) and the kismesissitude (the hate one) are typically sexual. The moirallegiance and the auspistice are typically not sexual, from what I've seen, and the auspistice doesn't really seem that much like a romance.
Kismessitudes work because trolls run on two emotions; hate and pity. So they have someone they can hate and hurt and fuck but a healthy kismessitude has each giving and recieving each other's hate. SO. Yeah.
I have no idea id this is helpful. I've actually not really been into homestuck for a while but the romance quadrants were definitely my favorite part tbh. XD
