Character A is somehow convinced character B is dead and then character B randomly turns up on their doorstep only for character A go into a complete freakout, up to the point of threatening to shoot B - not because they are that angry, but because they are still convinced B is dead and this thing that came to them is a hallucination or, better still, a demon.

Haven't got a chance to use this trope yet, but man, do I want to.

Also, high five for cuddling in hospital beds *_* And while we are on the subject of h/c, I bloody adore it when A holds B when B is having a meltdown (preferably over A).

All of this is gen, too. Sappy gen is my weakness.

damn, I should have used this in my "House shows up at Cameron's place after the series finale when she still thinks he's dead" fic. Instead she gets very startled for a second and then yells at him.
