I don't know....I mean, I know my experience is not everyone's experience, but my female friends have talked about this and none of us makes a conscious effort to check out a dude's package. His shoulders, hands, arms, butt, face, and hair -- yes. Package? Not really.

I'm the same way. Not saying I've never noticed, but it's about the last thing I would look at. Most the time it doesn't even occur to me to look for a bulge.

Exactly. I find people who obsess over packages are really trying to put the actor/celebs into a box of objectification. So they can feel like they are admiring an animal or something.

Yes. I . . . don't particularly notice it.

It's the first thing I check out if dude's skimpily dressed and whatnot, but if he's just in a pair of pants that aren't overly tight, I won't be pressed against the screen trying to find the outline of a dick. Hint of abs, though...

Sometimes I think it's guys who are the ones who check out other guys' packages - even straight guys, because they're the ones who think having a noticeable bulge gains female attention.

And it's attitudes like that which make me think humans are not so different to animals. We have our own mating displays to attract mates after all.

That definitely seems to be the case. If you compare fanservicey art done by women vs. gay men, the art by gay men tends to have way more emphasis on bulging packages than the art by women.

Also bubble butts?

This reminds me of an episode of QI where they reference some research which says that men (sub)consciously check out other men's packages, even on animals...

Thanks to meme a/b/o threads, I (guilty) check out packages on dogs.

Different strokes (eheh), I suppose: I'm a straight woman and I definitely check out packages.
