Re: What type of character do you always like?
(Anonymous) 2014-05-24 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)Michael Coldsmith Briggs (Airwolf) - morally ambiguous one-eyed spy with a limp (missile/chaingun damage), very loyal to his people
Professor X (X-men) - varies in moral ambiguity depending on canon/interpretation, wheelchair-bound, loyal to principles and people
Barbara Gordon (DCU) - usually fairly unambiguously good, but some storylines have been dodgier than others, wheelchair-bound, loyal to principles and people
Darth Vader (Star Wars) - not really morally ambiguous so much as an extremely late moral bloomer, full prosthetic suit, extremely loyal to family
Miles Vorkosigan (Vorkosigan Saga) - hyperactive morally ambiguous git with extremely fragile bones who is fanatically loyal to his planet/family
Sand da Glokta (First Law) - again, not so much morally ambiguous as morally bankrupt but on the right side, crippled by torture, and possibly not loyal so much as retaining enough principles to oppose certain ideas
Long John Silver (Treasure Island) - extremely morally ambiguous, one-legged, aggravatingly loyal at the worst moments
Joe Dawson (Highlander) - is probably the most moral of the crew but given Highlander that sometimes doesn't say much, double amputee, took on Immortals and broke the Watcher's codes for the sake of personal loyalties
Anyone else know any others?
