I literally did not notice this secret. Wow, dmw, congratulations on having an uncanny ability to be completely oblivious to obvious shit.

...Eh, I suppose we'll get to talk in some other thread someday, given that you're still enthusiastic about WP.

And re:the secret, I absolutely get the sentiment. Helene may just be the most cosplay-tasty character in the entire novel, what with her "glossy white shoulders". I can never quite forget this description, and whenever I envisage a Helene cosplayer, I always think of them having their shoulders exposed and maybe powdered with something nice and silvery. Not large pieces of glitter, you understand, but something like decorative shimmer, maybe. And white powder.

I don't think you should be breathtakingly, classically beautiful to cosplay her! Sure, she's described like this, but IMO the point is that she's striking, and that is something that can be achieved by combining the right kind of costume with the right kind of makeup. So I'd say go for it and if you do, give us links.
