Right, I've heard someone else mention that before too. I need to get my hand on these tie-in comics...

I read the tie-in for Winter Soldier but never came across the other one. The background information would be nice, if nothing else.

I torrented all of the Cap tie-ins - I can see if I can find the links again, or upload them for you if you can't torrent?

Ah, no, I don't want you to go to that trouble! I did search but I'm not sure what's what. It's called First Vengeance, right? Are there only four issues? I see those four and it says complete, but on the Marvel announcement it says that's an eight issue comic, so I'm confused. I need to switch to my computer, this would be faster, lol.

Maybe I can find it elsewhere.

It wouldn't be a problem! The one with the backstory is called First Vengeance, yeah. I could also only find downloads with four issues, but it seems complete to me - the last page says "To be continued in Captain America: The First Avenger, in theaters 7/22/11." There's also Captain America & Thor - Avengers, in which the Cap part is about some random mission Steve and the Howling Commandos did, though it inexplicably lacks Bucky.

Alrighty, I've found both First Vengeance and Cap and Thor and am attempting to download them. It might take a little while for the Thor one because there aren't many seeders, but I imagine I'll get it. Thank you for the help! If you ever get a username message me so I can friend you; it's been great talking to you!

How would Bucky not be in that? Like Bucky would let Steve go anywhere alone after the shit they've been through. Odd... (Still, I will read it. Especially if it has Thor too.)

Just editing to say: GOT THEM. Though I'm having to download adobe reader to read issue 2. OMG bb!Bucky calling Steve an inspiration, and Steve's mother talking about how his heart is ten times the size of his body and awww. Aww.

Editing yet again to say: Awww the Commandos saving Bucky. There wasn't enough of him, but I did enjoy what they did with the Commandos and Carter. Steve and Howard were a nice touch, too. It could've been worse!
