What kind of relationship? I need some context?

Is it the obvious two friendly dudes and a baby, or is there a deeper significance I'm missing?

Not OP, but I would guess deeper significance. The days when friends went to the wire for each other (and became found family when everything went to hell, in the case of the Titans), family was important, and stories had genuinely happy endings.

But perhaps I am projecting.

It's so fucked up.

DC was where I went for optimism and joy! Yeah, it was sometimes silly. Yes, there were always stakes. But it was the FUN side. Marvel was about more realistic stuff.

Now Marvel is siding with fun, what with the new Loki book, the new Ms. Marvel, and the misadventures of Hawkeye (which I have mixed feelings about, but it's still fun), and DC is doom, gloom, misery and fucking up great characters for NO FATHOMABLE REASON.

Dick had finally figured out who he was, dammit. It took him goddamn decades, several nervous breakdowns, Roy putting together a team just to prove Dick could lead it, and becoming Batman for a bit, but he'd finally got it together.

And now…he spends his time being tortured and beaten and I am honestly surprised they haven't dredged up his being raped by Tarantula, or redone it, just for shits and giggles.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHH!!!
