It's not "They're being replaced in upcoming movies", it's "The actors will eventually age out of the roles or get tired of the roles and move on".

Oooooohhhhh... I am much more okay with this. I was seriously worried for a while though. As long as these guys' stories get wrapped up I'm good.

They all have contracts to do a few more movies - but eventually, they'll "age out", their contracts will be up, etc.

Hopefully, Marvel will do the smart thing and move on to other characters, instead of just moving onto other actors for the same characters.

Yeah, I know that. I just thought the OP got some info I didn't and knew some of them were breaking their contract or something.

Based on the precedents of Hulk, Spiderman, Batman, and Superman, I'm right with you there in the hopeful camp, but realistically I think studio execs would end up breaking the reboot key on their computers before they'd even think of the word 'move on'.

Not for A2! Just, in general. Evans is halfway through his contract (seems likely that A2 and Cap 3 will be his last movies, and he's expressed a desire to move on), and RDJ is unquestionably getting older.

I don't see how it COULD be wrapped up; how they could possibly both save Bucky and put him back together in one movie. :(

Killing off or disappearing Steve will break the MCU Bucky. It broke the 616 Bucky, and he was considerably less damaged, imo.

Well, they're all on contract for 6 movies. So there will be a Captain America 3 and Avengers 3. I think it will be done by then.

And I don't think wrapping up has to mean Steve's death. It just means we don't see him afterwards.

Doesn't mean Marvel has to use him for nine, but it makes me scared that DoCA might be on the table (especially since the main characters for that arc are in the MCU now :( )
