Yeah, I would probably avoid doing that.

It will just make them resent the fact that you have food, and they don't. It might come across as insensitive to their feelings. And when people are hungry, they get grumpy.

Find someone else to talk to about your eating problem. Do you have another set of friends? Do you have a counsellor to discuss these issues with?
