Wut.

I just sat here for fine minutes and stared into your description hoping it would hold answers. It did not.

Haaa, I once read a fic that was trying to fight against transphobia but instead just bashed the main character for not knowing what a trans person was. It was super awkward.

As to why someone would write that and think it's cute and not creepy.

Aaaah. Gotcha. I think the writer is going more for caring/loving than cute, but the more I think about it, the more does seem deeply creepy. In a lot of ways.

Because 1. He's not your "baby boy" and 2. I really don't think you have to worry about a 4-year-old with a grown man's mind accidentally drowning himself or failing to get adequately clean.
