Oh, this'll be fun.

That's Andy Blake aka Jordan Wood aka Victoria Bitter aka Amy Player. He's a cult leader who's been active in fandoms foreeeeever and became internet famous when he claimed to be channeling Frodo and also Elijah Wood. He's currently in Supernatural fandom and claims that he's past all that, but there are a whole bunch of tumblrs popping up to document all the ways he hasn't changed:

I recommend reading kumquatwriter's stuff about Andy since it gives a very clear picture of how he operates and...well. It's a good [if scary], well written and does a lot to explain the reactions people have to what he does.

Seconded. Not only is she clear and straightforward, but I like the way her blog is written. (Also, she just kinda seems like a cool gal.)

Besides, reading a firsthand experience of something like this drives the point home way more than just an awareness blog (not that there's anything wrong with awareness blogs!). It's chilling.

I've read about him on one nigh about two years ago and he terrifies me still. I can clearly see while many people with issues get manipulated by him, hell even the base of the cult mechanism didn't sound implausible to me as I think the theory of multiply universes is sound (it escalates with him of course, but in levels ... which can be reasoned with as they happen and while on the outside you can see it's bullshite ... on the inside you probably don't). Worst thing is that he's still at it and his posts about "realising how toxic he was" are still total lies (sprinkled between the lines).

Also, he's still a scammer. Apparently he conned people in some military camp thingy recently? As in took registration money and never organised it?

I'm just glad that his fanfics are not something I read as I don't ship Destiel, never liked Tolkien and his magnus opus HP fic sounds pretenious.

Yeah, I read all I could find and found it fascinating. It's also interesting that even though his actions are well documented, he still manages to use the notoriety to his own advantage. It's the same thing as cult leaders the world over, but watching it play out in a circle I can reach out and touch (well, you know, follow on tumblr) really drives it home.

SA. Exactly! It's pretty odd with his history being all over the internet and him repeating the same schemes while tumblr loves to call out people. Worse thing, young kids ask him for advice and while good it still draws them to him. People have shitty phases in life where they are horrible and do vile things but they need to break out of the sort of mindset it lead to.

He never did and the worst thing is that he keeps talking about his friend who got shot (she somehow evolved into his girlfriend in his mind?) and he had been a meddling witness who actually got a court order to not speak about her (issued by family because of libel).

Ugh.

This guy is the reason I can't stand any talk of multiple universes, period! Anyone talking about parallel realities because it means Harry Potter is a real person freaks me the fuck out. Fictional universes hold together narratively, not logically...

I'm the anon who likes the theory sans fictional verses, just multiply chain of events. However, any sort of hypothesis like you mention and Andy went with ... would make me running. Not because of him, before there was Final Fantasy House D:, also fun! Also ... I read it few years after I had bumped into one of the survivors and damn, never had known they went through this.

The camp thing was basically a zombie apocalypse LARP, and it was cancelled before any money changed hands because people immediately put word around that this was not a person you should either be giving money or hanging out in the woods with.

I'm in Tolkien fandom and every time he pokes his head up for the umpteenth time I become very, very glad that he most likely won't ever be able to show his face there again.
