Oh I like talking to people. and I especially like being able to socialize without my parents' well intended by annoying "socialization help" which usually involves them standing nearby making 'cut it out' motions once I get over enthusiastic about something and start talking a lot.

I mean I know their heart's in the right place but still....it's too much. Also it's made me very overly self conscious about talking about my interests, like to where I feel like I'm always boring people even if they show interest ("they're being polite")

Like through working and stuff I've learned certain things and signals for how to talk to people. If someone wanted to get away from the conversation I'd figure it out and shut up. I've learned that stuff.

Also I DO enjoy food, and really I just loove the ....air of excitement around parties, so to speak (sometimes I almost swear I'm empathic to some degree...feeding off positive feelings and becoming distress and sometimes even angry when my friends are upset.) People in my family always joke that I like parties for the food, but really I just like the festive and exciting feeling about them.
