This is probably bait, but you're right about one thing-he didn't watch past the first episode. Linkara told him about the Haruka/Michiru thing on a flight. He tends to do this a lot, which annoys me. Barely looking into the source material and exaggerating certain things to be FunNY and WaCKy. Half of that review was about how Serena is whiny and 'useless' (which is the point of her character arc between episode one and the confrontation with Beryl) and the other was about how sexualized the ballerina leotard was. It's a shame.

Yeah, sometimes the bad dubs had hidden gems in their voice actors. Whether the actor could act or whether the dub was so bad it was hilariously fun to listen to them anyways.

Hm... I didn't read too far into the post you appended since I've been thinking about getting Transistor. If you're still around, OP, would you say it's worth playing for the ambience, even if the plot crash-lands at the end? (For the record, I enjoyed Bastion, but a huge part of it was the atmosphere and RPG elements. I cared enough about the story to agonize over the final choices my first playthrough, though.)

She's not dead. The writers released an article explaining where they planned to go with the events of the season finale if they got another season, and some of it was bullshit, but none of the main characters were dead. Just Zoe, who was already dead once anyway.
