You sound a lot like me tbh. Don't worry about it. Not only are submissive men not rare at all, in my experience the people I click with are usually interested in the same sexual dynamics as me.
I don't know where you've got this idea that all women are expected to be submissive, but any sexually active adult who thinks all women are turned on by the same things isn't worth your time.

But people don't expect society to be totally homogenous. There are exceptions. Maybe they're not the mainstream leads, I understand OP not thinking she's normal, but disney princesses aren't the only people who get happy endings. Hm, maybe I'm too cynical, but I find that "women = submissive" is deeply ingrained in a lot of peoples' thinking.

Not everyone, of course. It's not like I think I'll never find a guy who's right for me. But it's a strongly held cultural opinion.
