I hate that not only is she the Impossible Girl, but she is now apparently the single most important companion that has ever been? She has been keeping the Doctor alive forever and ever, protecting him in every regeneration. It's such bullshit it makes me see red. Not only did she make sure he took the correct TARDIS, she's also been stumbling around in the background of every single adventure! Keeping him safe! She essentially kills herself for this guy she's known for a handful of episodes, because she's PERFECT. She's wonderful. So selfless. And IMPORTANT. And IMPOSSIBLE.

So IOW she's a female self-insert Mary Sue wreaking havoc all over the Classic Who canon. How unfortunate. It's not like the reboot hasn't ever done that before. /s

This is worse, because not only has she been all that, she's badly written. There's no character there - just a quick pale sketch of a character. Moff didn't even take the time to make her into someone. Just, "Pretty face, short skirt, BOOM! Impossible Girl!!!! Aren't you all amazed?"
