If you're living in the USA, they're not going to go over your bank account line by line when you apply for credit.

I dunno if that'll help ease some of the stress, but they usually just do a credit check and maybe they'll look over the balances of your accounts.

Thanks, that helps. Everyone else replying is saying the same thing, so I'm not sure where my mom got the idea that they do that.
