As long as you enjoy yourself it doesn't really matter. Do you finish the fics? I hope you do, but at any rate at least you've left behind something for others to read. That's cool.

My 'obsessively into this' stage usually lasts anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, but I'm quite the fandom hopper as well. I'll typically come back at some point, but I go through periods of interest...can't help it.

OP. Yeah. The only fandom I have wips left in is one I was in for about 2 years, many many moons ago. Since then the longest I've stayed anywhere has been about a month. I tend to be into smaller fandoms though, so maybe there's just less to bounce off and stay interested in.
