Rapey a/b/o. It just doesn't happen in my fandoms. When there's a/b/o, consent issues are always taken into consideration. (Notably, Lewis).

"There's infinitely more shippy fic than there is gen" still doesn't apply to Elementary. Even though I'm no longer sure if I'm a part of this fandom.

If you don't mind, I'm curious what your fandom is. I've yet to read any a/b/o that actually deals with consent issues, instead usually handwaving it all.

Well, as I said, I mostly meant Lewis; my other fandoms aren't mainstream enough to have any omegaverse.

I was about to agree with dreemyweird because most a/b/o fic in Teen Wolf deals with consent issues and isn't rapey at all. I don't read it in other fandoms, though, and don't know that I would. Teen Wolf has these terms in the canon anyway, and authors like to explore the differences and subvert the tropes.

+1

I've seen some rapey a/b/o in Teen Wolf, but it's the far minority in the genre. Most of it handles it really well, and the ones that don't are usually just all around bad fics.

of all things, Hannibal is pretty good about a/b/o, from what I've seen. Most MCU is, too (I've seen like two or so Loki-centric fics that were the usual drivel, but the ones centering around, say, Tony or Clint are usually pretty good about consent issues and exploring them)
