Your boss sounds like a nice person! I'm glad they're being so supportive.

And ugh, I absolutely loathe making phone calls, but the more I do it the less stressful it becomes. Sure that's not the case with everyone, but maybe it'll eventually get easier. Like cassandra said, maybe it would be less stressful in person? I also agree with them about practicing; it can't hurt and might make you a bit more comfortable.
