What I find interesting about the whole thing is apparently before the interview no one knew about his views? I mean I'm stereotyping my own people here but he is from the Deep South. Either no one that complained about that interview has seem anything with him before or he's fairly quiet about his views and only responded when prompted to.

I think he has the right to say whatever he wants though. As long as he's not acting on it. Just as people have the right to say what they want about him.
