I HATE cold calling. I've found though (since moving out and having to deal with 'adult' stuff on my own), that if I have a paper with what I need to say on it in front of me before I dial, it makes it a little easier. My mind doesn't go blank and I don't feel like a complete idiot stuttering around not remembering why I needed to call in the first place.
