Oh, I get the point, and I think it's a stupid one, particularly considering that, like someone upthread said, they cast a decent-looking, skinny guy as Ramsey.

There's this opposite side to the coin. A woman can't be too ugly, but she can't be too pretty, either. Women can't win. OP buys into that same as most everyone else, but like so many, they think they're being progressive because they support "ugly" women.

And people have complained about Ramsay being too attractive as well. Same with Jorah, there have been a few secrets here on him. So don't act as if people are looking the other way when they're not.

That's leaving out some very important and relevant info. Such as Brienne is specifically supposed to be ugly in the books (or at least plain, and it's an important part of her character at least afaik). And such as plenty of not-model-attractive men get roles.

(not saying I automatically agree with OP btw, just think your'e reading an extra lot into it)
