Do all men hate women? I don't know, but I hope not.

From what I can tell of the YesAllWomen movement, it's a load of people who are very insecure, need someone to hate and pick on the minority that most gets their goat. In this case women, presumably because most women can sense their vitriol and instability a mile off and won't date the horrid f*ckers. Which makes them angry. Because, you know, entitlement.

Sad, pathetic wankers.

It is a joke. When Islamic militant leaders use your hashtag, you know you are a joke.

Here's what I need you to do.
Go out and register as an organ donor.
Then call your loved ones and tell them good bye.
Then lock yourself into a walk-in freezer and wait for your raw materials to be put to better use.

No, it's probably not all men, but doesn't it fucking feel like it sometimes?
It doesn't make me feel any better knowing I'm being abused by insecure losers who just happen to have been born with the set of sex organs that give them the power to freely treat us this way. It doesn't matter any to me if the fucker is a walking waste of genetic material, what I want to know is how can we fucking stop them. I think they see the #yessallwomen thing as more of a trophy room of their abuses rather than a call to change, so what more can be done?!

I was hoping it would draw attention to the issue and get people talking about it but that didn't happen.

AYRT I feel like life is too short to let them get to me tbh. I've got better things to do with my life than try and engage people who are essentially trolls.

That is how I try to be, but I was raped by some guy I knew for several years and that sort of has made it harder for me to brush it off. I still try to just tell myself "don't let them waste my time, I got one life and they aren't worth it." Sometimes it just gets hard though, you know? You just get sick of it.

Oh I do know anon, I really do sympathise. I was abused by a male relative when I was a kid. It makes it really tough not to take that kind of thing personally. *hugs*

I fought for many years against that kind of attitude. In the end it was taking so much out of me that I stopped. I'm not on twitter or tumblr. It makes life so much easier. I still try and speak up in a calm and rational manner when I hear someone saying something horrific, but that's all I do now.

It helped me.

But that's my path. Everyone's got to go their own ways.

It is difficult not to take it personally, because it always brings back those dumb memories. :(

I actually do not get involved with it because it is too exhausting. I would be miserable If I tried to get that into fighting the good fight. I try to focus more on positivity when I can. When somebody really gets nasty though sometimes you just gotta say or do something. It just floors me that people can be so nasty.
