Re: How do you exercise?

If you're a beginner you'll want to start low impact. For core muscles, Pilates and crunches are pretty decent, and calf raises and squats (add weights if these are too easy, the weights can be anything around the house that's heavy) for the lower body. For the upper body, I recommend pushups because you work so many muscles, and you can start at your own fitness level. If regular pushups are too difficult you can do them on your knees - if that's too difficult, do them standing up against the wall with increasing incline. If they're too easy, put your feet on a raised surface, or clap, or even try them one-handed. If you have something you can safely hang off of, try pullups or chinups, too. If you can't do them, do a negative one (start at the top and lower yourself as slowly as you can) until you build more strength, then start jumping up or kipping, then move on to a proper dead hang. If they're too easy, spread your grip or add weight.
