No more redheaded Wally? Aw, nuts. I liked redheaded Wally. (But then I just like redheads.) It's weird how DC is getting rid of their redheads but Marvel keeps on adding more. You can't throw a rock in that universe without hitting a redhead. (And that would be painful for them to since they are scientifically more sensitive to pain than the rest of humanity.)

Right? And it's not like it would have been impossible to race bend him, and keep him with red hair and freckles. WHY NO MORE FRECKLES?

I mean, yeah, maybe it would have been a stretch, but it would have been small potatoes compared to what DC is doing plotwise with the reboot IMO. :/

I was actually thinking of a post I saw that was a bunch of people from Africa (I think? It's been a while since I saw the post) who had natural red hair.

But yeah, obviously. And only white people have ever used henna for hair coloration.

Yeah, he could have been a cheerful, goofy-looking biracial kid with reddish hair and freckles and a big dorky ever-present smile.

We coulda had that.

I mean, okay, it still wouldn't have been my Wally West (because "my" Wally West is the one who has his decade+ of time being a hero in his uncle's sainted shadow, who's madly in love with Linda Park and best friends with Pied Piper, who grew up with us), but it would've been a darn sight closer, and would've made it seem like DC was actually trying to give us Wally West, instead of shoving a new character into the position of Barry Allen's Sidekick and giving him the same name.

And then here is Kate Kane, Barbara Gordon and Poison Ivy. Like I said, I am just used to Marvel where every other character has redhair. It's enough to make you think that all redheads are mutants.
