I'd say objectively no.

I personally find them boring as hell, though. (I am def. not the intended audience.)

Just out of curiosity, what did you think of wanted? Did you ever watch it?
Would it have grabbed you more if the genders were reversed and it was a woman power fantasy?

Wanted bored me to goddamn tears. I was half asleep by the end of it.

I don't know if I'd have liked it more if Wesley was a woman. I can't think of any movies/shows/books quite like that off of the top of my head to compare.

Not exactly on the same level, but close enough: Ever seen The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis? Amnesiac schoolteacher and housewife remembers she's a kickass assassin, and goes about trying to unravel the last job she was on before she became an amnesiac. Geena Davis Kicks the whole world in the balls.

I LOVED The Long Kiss Goodnight, but I feel like I am the only person in the entire world that did. However, I feel like it was far better written, and didn't have anywhere near the amount of asspull, idiotic plot twists that Wanted did (you get your names...from a cloth? really? oh, it's his dad why a shock?? magic candlewax tubs?)
