Re: Problems that don't sound like problems

While I don't need to gain that much weight, I've been struggling for the last 10 months or so to be back at 120 pounds after a stomach infection and stress shed some weight I didn't need to lose. That said, I completely understand being sick of sweets and baked goods. It's super cloying after a while. Are you able to eat avocados? The scientific serving size is 1/5 of the fruit and has 50 Calories, while a half of one runs closer to 125 Calories. It could at least break up the monotony a little.

I'm unable to eat pretty much ANYTHING without nausea, and avocados smelled nauseating to me even before this flare-up started. :P There's no way I could eat half of one, and a spoonful of Nutella has like twice the calories as half an avocado... so even if I liked avocado, Nutella wins.

Plus I imagine they have a significant amount of natural fiber, and fiber appears to be a trigger for some of my GI problems... that's the main reason I can't eat fruit. And I miss fruit so much. ;_; I can occasionally tolerate juice, but even when I can, it's just not the same. Been drinking pineapple juice today and it just makes me want fresh pineapple, maybe with some strawberries...

But yeah... I used to love any sort of sweet goods, and I've taken to seeking out new and interesting kinds of chocolate, mostly of the dark variety, to get some variety, but most of the time? I have to walk through the produce section to get to the high-calorie stuff in the bakery/snack cake area and am just like ;________;
