Uh, how about you simply contribute something to your fandom/OTP yourself? It's not about popularity and from nothing comes nothing. So if you think no one ships what you are shipping (or liking in general), why don't you go out there and contribute fics, fanarts, reviews, whatever? Sooner or later it will reach people who like the same things and you'll find yourself in a happy little fandom. Don't get so involved in fandom wars, that's unhealthy.
