If I wasn't leaving in a week I'd honestly have walked out today.

I know that feeling. I quit my job as a pharmacy technician for one of the major retail pharmacy chains, and on my second-to-last day, it was a nightmare. We were hours behind on orders, we didn't have enough people so that as long as all three stations that had to deal with customers had people, there was no one filling prescriptions. If I wasn't already leaving, I would have walked out.

Yeah. Today I was so busy and this long, really frustrating conversation came after a long difficult day. I wanted to say fuck this, but I think I'll stick it out. Unfortunately.

And this is exactly why I haven't worked retail pharmacy in over ten years. I see it hasn't changed.
