I can understand people not wanting Bucky to have killed Howard Stark, because it is a horrible thing to consider, but ignoring it or insisting that he didn't do it would be silly. And personally given what we were shown in the movie I think it's more likely than not that Bucky did kill them as the Winter Soldier.

But some people get very funny about head-canons and insisting that they're canon.
