how is Hunter x Hunter new? It has had two animes by now, and the managa is even famous for its hiatuses

They're doing some kind of new anime, from what I understand. I don't know if the plot is new, though, or if it's just a reboot.

It's a reboot, but it has new material since the old anime went up to Greed Island and the new one is doing the Chimera Ants and it'll do the Elections :D

More seriously, it's the best ongoing shounen right now and it's better that many old ones including YYH (As much as I love YYH, it's repetitive and pretty standar).
