And I thank you for your dedication! I'm sorry for the side effect, but non region spelling and slang in fic is a pet peeve. I've noticed a lot of Britishisms in my American fandoms lately and takes me right out of the fic. So yes, thank you for being one of the good ones!

Late reply is late, but that artwork is from the cover of the Avengers that came in the briefcase boxset of all the phase 1 Marvel movies. All the movies had covers in a similar style and they are all awesome looking. :)

Seconding the Britishisms throwing me out of fic. The occasional one is easy to ignore (mostly in narration) but American dialogue almost never sounds like British dialogue unless the original canon explicitly (and probably stereotypically) wrote it that way.

I believe it's one of the disc sleeve images from the MCU Phase One boxset.

Spelling doesn't bother me, since the words are pronounced the same (colour, color). But 'boot' for 'trunk' and 'mum' for 'mom' will send me right out of the fic. And vice-versa, too, if it's a UK show or movie, don't have them sounding like American teens.
