I am so sick of Stiles. Over it completely and wish not every fic that came about was all about Stiles.

i've never seen a fandom that focused that much on a character before. you'd think he owned 95% of the screen time with the way the fandom goes on about him.

and that's just what i can tell from the multifandom blogs i follow on tumblr.

Tbf, 3B focused mostly on him to showcase Dylan O'Brien's acting and that he could do more than be the wacky sidekick. Not saying the others aren't awesome or deserve attention because they are and do, but that's part of why.

Yeah, but it was like that before 3b. If anything, I'd actually say fandom is more interested in other characters now than they were before. I feel like 3b was an over saturation of Stiles.

Agreed. I like him just fine in the canon even though he seemed pretty generic-sidekick to me, but even fics that aren't explicitly about him these days seem to have some sort of weird delusional tone to the narration. Very "of COURSE everyone is attracted to Stiles, and thinks he's funny and awesome and everyone's on his side!" It's a little distracting.

Agreed. I burnt out on Stiles when the SHOW became super obsessed with him, too. He was a good supporting character. But 3b was like the All Stiles All The Time Show and by mid-way I was just sick of Stiles's face.

I can barely set foot in the fandom because of the overabundance of fucking Stiles (pun intended).
