The "generic ~badass female character~ Natasha" in Cap 2/Avengers fic is driving me insane. Yes, we get it, she's the scariest Avenger, she's the only one who knows what everyone else is up to, the only one who can ~see through~ everyone, and she could beat anyone with her little finger. Can we get more of the Natasha who uses emojis in her mission-related texts, makes nerdy references, and - in her own words - just pretends that she knows everything?

I was actually a little bit weirded out by how different Cap 2 Natasha was from her entire fandom portrayal, and I came down on the side of liking her canon a lot better.
