I like the word "feels". To me it describes a very specific kind of feeling related to fictional characters, that the person saying it knows is kind of over the top and silly. It is a little jarring when people use it in reference to really serious RL issues, but I can let it slide.

Same here. This world has its own meaning and its own connotations, it's not just a bastardized version of "feelings".
