I think both ways are offensive and annoying. Both extremes.

""They aren't GAY goddammit, stupid slash fans" Needs to be said to RPF tinhatters. (not normal shippers and fic writers but TINHATTERS.) It's all sorts of disgusting. And yeah, when I'm going into shows like Teen Wolf or SPN for instance all the "it's canon they are gay, you're wrong if you think otherwise!" i think is offensive too. It's not just shippy it's kinda tinhatting and they need to know what canon means.

But "They aren't GAY goddammit, stupid slash fans" to any slash shipping whatsoever to people who ship and write fic aka the average fan, that is really offensive and that makes me angry. Like they think what fans do will change what the canon is or something. Like go freaking watch the show and don't mind what fans do, ugh.

So both to me! Lol
