This is so... stereotypical that my first thought was that it's a troll.

Also lol @ pulling anime from three different decades that have stood the test of time and become classics and using them as a benchmark to compare to anime from just the last four years. Most anime is not great, and this has always been the case. It's the same thing with tv and movies. When you have dozens of anime coming out each season, only a few of them are probably going to be really good. There was tons of crap coming out in the 80s and 90s. You likely just don't think of it because it's been forgotten over time.

I'm not a big fan of any of the anime on that image save Tiger and Bunny (and I actively dislike two of them- SAO and SNK), and even then I still think this is silly.
