I don't see Charles as a sexual character. The scene where he says he raised mystique is very interesting. I think he's a sort of father figure, even god like figure to the others. To me Erik is the closest he's got to an equal. But no matter what, he can control him if he doesn't wear the mask. So he's also a bit alone with his abilities.

I think it's just a very intense relationship, but not sexual, I don't get that from it at all.

See, I saw the scene where he called Raven "the girl I raised" was less Xavier being a father figure, and more showing that Xavier never really saw her as her own person, which was why she left - even ten years later, he still doesn't quite see her as her own person. He loved her, cared about her, but treated her like a pet, not a peer.

Yeah, I personally read Charles as ace, but I still ship the hell out of it.
