My opinion on this issue sort of depends on why you hate wearing glasses. Like all surgeries, lasik has risks, and it also won't fix keep your vision permanently perfect. You can only get it done once (currently), but your eyes will still degrade as you age, so you'll most likely end up in glasses eventually. Not everyone is a good candidate, and if you hate glasses for cosmetic reasons, I'd highly advise against surgery.

That's actually not true. You can absolutely get it more than once, and continue to have revisions once you've had it, though you may have to have a different kind (PRK) that has a longer recovery time because your corneas will be thinner. It's all right there on the site you just linked.
