To me that whole song sounded like Lily telling her brother "get off your ass and DO SOMETHING" and since he went and became a TV star, it kinda worked.

I'll bet he thinks the song's funny and isn't holding it against his sister.

nayrt - i don't know, there was something in the celebrity gossip blogs just the other day, she said she'd been offered a cameo in Game of Thrones, and he came out and said she was never offered the role. a lot of people thought he was calling her out for lying, and that there had to be some bad blood there.

According to what I read, she wasn't the one who said she'd been offered the role, and the role whoever claimed she'd been offered would have been awkward given how incesty it was, so I get him wanting to deny it. Not sure where the whole her being called out thing came from though, since as I said, I've never seen it said that she's the one who claimed the offer had happened.

Nah, she was the only one who claimed she was offered the role. Her whole story didn't make sense though because Asha is not a cameo role and I sincerely doubt they'd ask someone with no acting experience to do that. Not to mention, she's a massive attention whore. Just watch some interviews with Alfie, she muscles him away from interviewers or tries to make it all about her. She's just an awful person from the sounds of it. Alfie put down that rumor recently (in a rather classy way tbh) and said Gemma was always their choice for Yara/Asha.

I think it was a very mean song, and yeah - really not cool of her to have humiliated her brother that way...but at the same time? This is a woman who wrote a song about a [presumably now ex] boyfriend being awesome...except that he was terrible in the sack. So mean songs are kind of a regular part of her thing.

That said, she also writes songs that are fun to listen to despite that so...yeah. -shrugs-
