I don't know about that. He's a good looking dude in a popular franchise. No one gave a shit about him before WS and now they are backtracking and discovering what else he's been in.

But, man, am I sick to death of these surges of popularity actors get that take over my dash and then everyone acts like these fucking celebrities are ruining their lives. If you start posting pics of Sebastian Stan and tag them #trash or #get the fuck out of my life or #disgusting I will unfollow the shit out of you.

I'm a little more confused by the use of "superfluous". I happen to like that word but it feels weird here. People who have fun have some sort of purpose that people who don't have fun don't?

I actually don't bitch about people having fun? Have fun. I have way too much fun sometimes, tbh. But I'm annoyed at people who are enamored with an actor and then talk about how he's trash and ruining their life. It's stupid.

The trash part is fandom in-joke, at least when I've seen it, based on Stan's sometimes rather questionable outfit and makeup choices giving him a "just climbed out of a very expensive dumpster" look.

Kings had a small but permanently sad invested fandom! I went to see the first Cap movie 85% because Stan was in it and I was obsessed with him in Kings lol.

"Jack is going to be trapped like a stud stallion, then deaded" was a truly terrible place for it to end. 0.o I mean, it was horrible for most everyone else, too, and Jack was a terribly flawed and not very nice human being, but he definitely got the short end of the stick. So did his fiancee, since the poor girl had no idea what was actually happening.

That last episode was all-around awful. I think I read somewhere that they had to reshoot it when they learned that the show was cancelled, and it certainly seems that way - quickly attempting to tie up loose ends and NO CLOSURE WHATSOEVER.

The way I remember it Jack was told that he would be imprisoned until his fiancee (wife?) conceived of a male child, at which point Silas would put Jack to death and raise Jack's son as his heir.
