The Doctor turned to look at the man and the full force of the storm was in his eyes. “Not anymore,” he said in a tone that brooked no argument. The man decided this was not an issue he wanted to push and buggered off. Rose sighed. She hadn’t wanted to continue dancing with the man, but she did want to continue dancing and she knew the Doctor wouldn’t want to dance with her. He never did in this body and she’d only managed to get him to do it a scant handful of times in his last one.

It surprised her, then, when he reached out and grabbed her by the wrist, giving her a light jerk and bringing her to him. “Doctor?”

“I’m fixed,” he said. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his body.
