He said what he said, and we can all interpret it the way we want. Personally I think "I'm offended" has started to hold way too much weight.

I agree with you 100%.

Preciously. Don't get me wrong; there are legitimate times that "I'm offended" holds weight and deserves discussion, but some people just always feel offended about everything. Case in point: Tumblr SJWs who try to use the "I'm offended" card to gain some sort of authority. Also, the rampant misuse of Trigger Warnings. I shouldn't be responsible for everyone's feelings.
